🔬 Immunotherapies: charting a course from the lab to the clinic

Join us for our next Workshop focusing on the current pre-clinical and clinical bottlenecks in using Immunotherapy, as well as the discussion of novel technologies/approaches that are emerging in the field. This event brings together IMMUNO-model members together with experts from pre-clinical, clinical, translational and industry/SME sectors to identify current challenges and enable knowledge exchange to advance research models. It also aims to gather a considerable number of IMMUNO-model participants in Dublin, Ireland.

Attendees, particularly young researchers, are encouraged to submit abstracts of their research to be presented in a poster format. A number of abstracts may also be selected for Speed Communication and showcased in alignment with the program schedule.

Topics covered:

  • Best practice and current challenges in Immunotherapy;
  • Immunotherapies in the clinic;
  • Preclinical models of Immunotherapy used in Academia;
  • Preclinical models of Immunotherapy used in Industry;
  • Emerging clinical/translational Immunotherapy approaches;
  • Modelling Immunotherapy by novel preclinical approaches.

Who Should Attend: Clinical, preclinical and translational Researchers, PhD students and early career researchers, professionals from Industry/SME and all other professionals working in the Immunotherapy / Immuno-Oncology field.

For attendees of the workshop, we would also like to highlight that the European Congress of Immunology (ECI) commences the day after the workshop in Dublin from the 1st to the 4th of September 2024-https://eci2024.org/.

The IMMUNO-model Workshop is not associated with the ECI, it is a separate event.

Re-imbursement: A limited number of attendees will be eligible for reimbursement under the COST Travel Reimbursement Rules. IMMUNO-model members will be prioritised for re-imbursement on a first come, first served basis until July 24th, 2024. After this date, should there still be funding available, all registered attendees will be considered for re-imbursement.

How to Get Involved

  • Read the Project Description MoU;
  •  Inform the Main Proposer/Chair of your interest (email);
  • Apply to join your Working Groups of interest;
  • You will be informed by the working group leaders as soon as your application has been reviewed;
  • Please note, Management Committee nominations are carried out through the COST National Contact Points.
