The following grant calls are now open!

a) Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) Grant: if you would like to carry out short-term research in another institution abroad, please follow this link 1st Call for STSM Applications – Grant Period 2, 01 November 2023 – 29 February 2024 – IMMUNO-model for more information.

b) Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC) Conference Grant: if you are Young Researcher and Innovator affiliated in an ITC / Near Neighbour Country and would like to present your own work at a high-level conference (organised by third parties), please follow this link 1st Call for ITC Applications – Grant Period 2, 01 November 2023 – 31 October 2024 – IMMUNO-model for more information.

To make IMMUNO-model COST Action (CA21135) activities more visible, we have created digital materials that explain the Action, its goals, working groups functions and more. These materials will provide better understanding of our work.

04. Digital material

IMMUNO-model COST Action participants can now make use of the action logos and a power point template for presentations! Please go to the Members Area of our website to log in or register. You will receive a link (please check your spam folder if you don’t receive an email) to set your password and after that you should be able to start using the intranet and download the materials as needed.

05. Target Group Recruitment Committees (TGRCs)

The IMMUNO-model COST Action has created TGRCs to:

  1. manage and supervise the recruitment of new members;
  2. ensure equal representation and opportunities of all Target Groups in Action activities;
  3. develop group-specific activities, such as early carrier investigators (ECI) and female researcher leadership workshops;
  4. promote a balanced selection of speakers in terms of gender and country of origin, as well as the participation of ECIs in IMMUNO-model meetings and conferences.

The Immuno-model TGRCs are:

TGRCs are looking for a maximum of 9 new members to assist with IMMUNO-model recruitment, strategy, dissemination of activities, outreach and equality/diversity/inclusion initiatives in each of the defined committee areas. If you wish to join a TGRC: please forward an expression of interest letter (outlining the TGRC you wish to join and why you wish to join) and a copy of your CV by 20th December 2023The letter and CV can be emailed to the TGRC committee members (see above) leading the TGRC you wish to join.

06. Upcoming Activities

Please save the dates in your calendars for the Immuno-model upcoming events!!

Workshop 1: Predictive Biomarkers of Toxicity and Immunotherapy Response in Advanced Melanoma will be held in Skopje, North Macedonia on the 14th and 15th March 2024.

Workshop 2: Immunotherapies: charting a course from the lab to the clinic will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on the 31st August 2024.

Training School: Summer school on immunogenomic computational tools will be held in Zaragoza, Spain, from the 11th to the 13th June 2024.

Immuno-model Annual Meeting: In May 2024 the second Immuno-model Annual Meeting will be taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia. Final dates and program will be posted soon on our website!

Management Committee meeting will be held virtually on the 6th June 2024.

How to Participate

The COST Action IMMUNO-model welcomes research-active scientists working in the field.

How to Get Involved

  • Read the Project Description MoU;
  •  Inform the Main Proposer/Chair of your interest (email);
  • Apply to join your Working Groups of interest;
  • You will be informed by the working group leaders as soon as your application has been reviewed;
  • Please note, Management Committee nominations are carried out through the COST National Contact Points.
