Published in Immunotherapy Advances (Official Journal of the British Society for Immunology)

We invite submissions to a special collection on Imaging in Immunotherapy, guest edited by Dr Doreen Lau (Co-Leader, IMMUNO-model WG2). This is the journal’s first special issue dedicated to imaging, showcasing how innovative technologies are transforming our understanding of immune responses and enabling non-invasive monitoring of immunotherapy efficacy and toxicity across a range of immune-mediated diseases, including cancer, infections, and autoimmune disorders.

We welcome interdisciplinary contributions spanning both preclinical and clinical research. Areas of interest include optical imaging (from single-cell resolution to whole-body applications), Immuno-PET and SPECT, MRI-based immune cell tracking, and image-guided drug delivery approaches such as focused ultrasound.

Original research articles, reviews, commentaries, and TrialWatch articles are all welcome. All accepted papers will be fully open access and benefit from additional promotion through the British Society for Immunology and journal networks.

Submissions are open until end of June 2025, with flexible timelines for invited authors.
To express interest or discuss your idea, please contact: doreen.lau@brunel.ac.uk.
